World Cup 2010 offer

DMP’s revolutionary HDMS system could see employees being kept firmly on-side during this year’s football World Cup and the whistle being blown on sickies!

Instead of taking unofficial time off to watch England games in the pub or at home, this hi-tech device means workers can now view all matches in stunning hi-definition from the comfort of their workstations.

Four years ago it was estimated that each World Cup game cost UK businesses a combined loss of £400 million, and a staggering fivemillion working days were lost throughabsenteeism, extended lunch breaks and alcohol-impaired performance caused by watching it in the boozer.

But during the 2010 World Cup periodwhich kicks off on 11th June, Leeds-based Digital Media Projects is offering companies an opportunity to hire the high definition media server (HDMS) system and ensure a full squad turnout each match day.

“Our HDMS system means businesses can now put TV channels and pre-recorded material through their computer network, and during the World Cup this will mean every employee can potentially watch live games from their workstation.”

It doesn’t matter if companies have three networked PCs or hundreds, one box will service any number. All that’s needed for DMP to set the system up is an existing freeview TV aerial or satellite dish, a TV licence and 45 minutes. It’s that simple.
