How to create digital signage
Content is updated at the touch of a button every time there is some new information to be displayed.
New signage can be created and sent to screens from our online creator, within a matter of minutes, thereby keeping your messages relevant and up to date from one central location.
We developed a signage creation tool for marketers. It’s simple but powerful, designed with familiar concepts to make it incredibly user friendly. There’s no need to install anything, just log on to our web-based platform using your unique username and password. As the platform is hosted with DMP, there’s nothing for your IT department to worry about and the whole system can be up and running in minutes.
Using a familiar set of tools it’s easy to get started creating some great digital signage. We’ve looked closely at how the best PC and Mac-based tools work and created our own toolbox that is focused on giving you close control of how a page looks without complicating the process. Creating shapes, adding text and including HD video (live and pre-recorded, full screen or otherwise) is really easy. Plus, we’ve got a great dynamic toolset allowing you to drop in external RSS feeds, text and image tickers, and even attractive dynamic widgets for showing local weather and news.
Creative style options
Most web-based tools are rigid and inflexible when it comes to style and customisation – but not ours. We provide all the tools to make your signage look exactly how you intended. All the options you’d associate with a graphics package are there, from font and size, to colour and much more, even control over how images should fade in and out. You won’t believe you’re not using an installed application.
Attractive signage is all about image, and our image management tool ensures there’s no compromise in making your signage look great. Upload your own images or use some of the great templates we provide. It’s easy to get images on screen, just drag and drop them onto the canvas. Want to cycle through images in a particular area of the screen? No problem – simply use the image ticker tool and drag images into it. Because you’re using a hosted platform, all the images are available to you, wherever you are, whenever you work, anywhere on the net.
The layers palette really helps manage and navigate large signage projects. Layers can be named, grouped and duplicated to speed up the process of creating attractive signage pages. Those who have used a layers-baed application such as Photoshop will find our CMS familiar, and those starting as beginners will love its simplicity.
