DMP high performance encoders
DMP FLUX is a powerful and extremely flexible system for digital television and video delivery over a computer network. There are three models in DMP FLUX product range, enabling supply of live, encoded television from an s-video, component or composite H264 source.
Live encoding
Connect a DVD player, video camera or any other compatible device to stream live content to network-connected displays and desk tops in real time with very low latency.
High definition media delivery
Broadcast multiple channels of high quality pre-recorded media to inform and entertain, or advertise on behalf of third parties to provide additional revenue streams. DMP FLUX has capacity of up to 500GB – well over 100 hours of high definition video. Playlist services allow quick and easy scheduling of content delivery.
Multi-platform
Using the optional EPG and set top box control, it is easy to create an ergonomic, attractive interface to all the content being broadcast. The XSL-based rendering engine makes it easy to customise. Templates included with the EPG include DMP Immersion, PC and now Mac.
Integration
Tight integration into the network ecosystem is essential. That is why DMP FLUX has a range of services to seamlessly interoperate with your existing network infrastructure. EPG Now and Next information is available as an XML web service, or use the fully customisable DMP FLUX web server. Any third party video sources are also easily integrated into the EPG. Important network service such as ICMP and DHCP are available if required.
Immersion control
Achieve fine-grained control of screens with DMP’s next generation media adapter and set top box, DMP ImmeRsion. Schedule an individual screen or group of screens to play specific content at specific times, or manually change channel on any screen from a remote location anywhere on the network.
Centralised content management
Manage content delivery through DMP’s simple, secure web-based administration interface, the Content Management System (CMS) controls independent Immersions from single point, either manually or though the creation of an automated schedule. Update all screen locations from one central point using safe and secure automated transfer over the internet.
