European success for DVB broadcast appliance
A number of recent visits to Europe to demonstrate and trial the uHDMS DVB Broadcast Appliance has resulted in significant interest. Recent economic events have hit worldwide retail particularly hard and made the leading-edge solution from DMP even more attractive.
Revolutionary in its approach to content management and distribution the new DVB appliance from DMP brings substantial cost savings over other high-definition video distribution systems, so much so that it has been referred to as the 'no-brainer' solution for electronic retail. Business development director Norman Finnigan commented: "The level of interest from our European demonstrations has exceeded our expectations. We fully expect our installation base in mainland Europe to exceed those of the UK by the end of 2009".
