Where client control of content delivery is required, VOD is key. Hundreds of channels can be delivered simultaneously, then paused, rewound, stopped and restarted all under the control of the viewer.
Cost-effective delivery
VOD can be delivered using a simple computer network. Most Set-top boxes available today are able to control playback of VOD channels and the uHDMS platform uses industry standard protocols to facilitate this. Further, VOD content can also be viewed on PC’s and Macs using a suitable player.

DMPs VOD server integrates perfectly with other products in the uHDMS and HDMS range offering an total solution to next-generation media delivery. Each VOD server is also designed to be scaleable, handing off requests when busy to other attached VOD servers - thus the platform is completely scaleable.
High Definition
All our servers are capable of delivering High Definition content using the same efficient mechanisms. The only additional equipment required is a HD compliant set-top box.
